Basalt Fibre, 4 mm, 1 kg
For reinforcement.
- Length fibers: 4 mm
- Improved mechanical properties of fresh concrete
- Reduced cracks
To produce dispersible fibers, basalt fiber roving is produced with specific sizing and fibers are chopped to different lengths.
The sizing enables the dispergating of fibers in filaments when water is added to the concrete so the single filaments of the roving lose their compound structure.
That is why the separated filaments can mix homogeneously with the fresh concrete and this in turn results in a reduction of the shrinkage in the screed. As a result, bending, tensile strength and surface quality of the concrete are increased and the surface quality of the concrete component is improved.
Dispergated fibers are great for mixing with fresh mortars, screeds and similar cementitious matrices.
