These premium handmade papers are made from the highest quality cotton and flax. From these particularly long-fibered raw materials, papers with grammages from 30 g/m² to 400 g/m² can be made in various compositions. Both historical and modern papermakers´ moulds are used to give the paper its characteristic structure (vergé / laid, velin / wove). The papers are coloured with the finest earth pigments and therefore have a high light fastness. The different shades of the handmade papers are based on historical examples. Due to their careful manufacture, the handmade papers are ideal for restoration purposes as well as all classic and modern printing processes such as etching, lithography, letterpress and digital printing.
As with all handmade products, papers produced by hand are subject to natural fluctuations in weight per sheet. This represents a manufacturing feature and does not constitute a deficiency.
