Sturgeon glue is particularly characterised by its high adhesive strength and good durability as well as elasticity or flexibility. The glue has a lower viscosity than comparable animal products. Due to the low gelling temperature, it can be handled at room temperature.
Warm and humid weather can have a significant effect on the shelf life of the preparation. Please be sure to use clean containers, preferably glass jars, and store in a cool place.
Animal glues should definitely be stored in a dry place.
