Vulpex Liquid Soap, 250 ml

Vulpex Liquid Soap is a universal cleaning agent for objects made of a wide variety of materials such as paper, textiles or stone. Since its introduction in 1970 in England, Vulpex has been used very successfully in all fields of professional restoration and conservation of art and cultural property: Feathers, textiles, leather, carpets, furniture, oil paintings, weapons, marble, stone and many more. Vulpex is alkaline. It dissolves and emulsifies dirt, grease, mineral oils and waxes quickly and efficiently. As a deep cleaning agent, Vulpex also dissolves dirt that has accumulated in microcracks (craquelé).

Application:
Vulpex is supplied as a concentrate that is diluted with water before use. Usually 1 part Vulpex is diluted with 6 - 7 parts water. More water can be added for a lighter cleaning solution. It is essential that the cleaned areas are re-cleaned with clean water! For a water-free cleaning solution, e.g. when cleaning leather, Vulpex can also be diluted with white spirit instead of water - 1 part Vulpex to 10 - 20 parts petrol.

Please note:
Vulpex degreases the skin, so it is essential to wear gloves when working with it. Protect your eyes from splashes.
