Willard Conservation Spatula Tip X, 20 x 10 mm
Sole 20 x 10 mm, backward curved, flat, round tip.
This spatula, together with the heating putty control unit, was also used, among other things, in the "Chichester Cathedral Conservation" project of the Hamilton Kerr Institute, University of Cambridge.
Deffner & Johann had this spatula developed according to the wishes of restorers at the universities in Cologne and Dresden. The new shape was modeled after drawings and models. Each spatula is handcrafted as a unique piece.
The instep is extra thin, the sole flat, with a slightly rounded heel, clear lateral edges. For a flat, even support on the object and an exact control of the support. The angle of the shank is adjusted to allow the sole to rest flat on the surface and the handle to be held at a comfortable angle.
