Deffner & Johann wins Bavarian Export Award 2018
Almost the whole team of Deffner & Johann experienced a great award ceremony in Munich. After a laudation and the presentation of a short image film about Deffner & Johann, Ralph-Uwe Johann (Owner and Managing Director) received at November 21th the award for the category commerce from Hubert Aiwanger, deputy minister president of Bavaria.
»A fantastic appreciation of our efforts regarding the export business. Our earliest order books of the late 19th century show first orders from the neighbouring countries. Today Deffner & Johann supplies experts like conservators, craftsmen, institutes and museums worldwide – with a small team, from Röthlein, close to Schweinfurt, but with an almost unrivalled assortment. We are proud of this steady development and especially pleased that we achieved this award«,

The Bavarian State Ministry of economy, energy and technology, the Bavarian Commercial and Industrial Chamber and the consortium of the Bavarian Chamber of Crafts in cooperation with Bavaria International awards the Bavarian Export Preis since 2007.
It is given for exceptional business performance as well as willingness to innovate and export initiative to small bavarian companies with less than 50 employees, which are performing successfully on the export market. Additional aspects are the sustainability of the export success and future strategy.
We would like to thank the selection committee and the organiser for the award and the fabulous evening in Munich. Our team had an interesting and exciting tour, a welcome change from our day-to-day business and great recognition for everybody involved.
