The menu of the homepage has been extended. In addition to the product categories, as you already know from the D&J Catalog, we have combined new topics and fields of conservation as well as brands and manufacturers added to the menu on the homepage. We hope this makes it easier for you to find the right products for your field of expertise or project.
The search function has also been extended. With our new search box you will find your desired product faster. You can search by product name, article number or article description.
Straight, convenient ordering
What remains is our convenient payment options like invoice or prepayment (for new customers, for orders from abroad, from a certain order value and in individual cases, we reserve the right to deliver against prepayment), the usual fast delivery and, of course, our competent customer service.
Transparent Freight Costs
The freight costs for standard deliveries are shown when checking out. With your order, you see the amount that is incurred with the transport by parcel service. Some items require individual package for safety or handling reasons (eg paint bucket, injection mortar, arbocel, etc.). This will be indicated with your order. For orders which are to be sent by freight carrier, we ask a range of selected carriers for their charges for the individual order. The applicable freight rates can therefore not be displayed directly when placing an order online. We will quote the freight charge to you by e-mail based on the most competitive price for your destination and freight parameters. With this procedure there is always a very favorable freight charge for your delivery and a speedy handling too.
Our goal is to choose for you the most economical and reliable shipping method. Should you have special requirements in matters, please contact us or send your requirements with your order.
Extended order functions
Wish list
Once you are logged on with your account you can use the wish list function. By clicking on the wish list button you create and products to a one or more personal wish lists. You can forward your list (s) to other persons via e-mail. For example, you can easily and conveniently send your order for further processing or approval to the purchasing department. Many of our customers in Museums or public institutions have let us know that such a function would make their work easier.
Project list
Likewise, customers have informed us that they would like to create shopping lists for projects, conservation tasks or workgroups they are cooperating with. We have also integrated this feature in the new web shop. Now you can conveniently create a list of products for projects. You can assign specific names to project lists for easy identification. You can use project lists for cost planning when handing in RFQs or RFPs. Simply convert the project list to an order once you receive the order. Here you can also create and manage favorite lists for follow-on orders to easily recall the items being used.
Request for quotation
Do you need a written quote in your organization, museum or workshop? Simply select the function "Request for quotation" in the shopping basket. By clicking on "Send request" we will prepare and promptly return your personal quote to you for the selected articles.
The D&J Blog
For over 5 years, we have presented a broad range of video tutorials, FYI clips and product information on our D&J YouTube Channel. To provide you with the latest information on product news, activities, pending events or articles and conference content we find worth sharing, in our new D&J Blog.

The new D&J Onlineshop can be used on PC, Tablet and Smartphone. This allows you to easily search products or place orders when and where ever your work requires.
Nothing is perfect
A lot of work has gone into the programming and preparation of the new Deffner & Johann Webshop. The content will be updated and entered during the next weeks.
In the end, we can only improve our offer or eliminate errors if you give us feedback – both positive and negative. Therefore – let us know if you have questions about specific features, if you miss products or you encounter errors. Just forward your feedback to us. We can then directly resolve issues and make improvements.
