Includes three jet sizes (0.8 mm, 1.2 mm, 1.8 mm) for all common blasting media up to 250 μ. Also suited and recommended for soft particle blasting in paper conservation. Airblaster II features two pressure tanks and two handpieces, allowing the use of two different blasting media or two people working simultaneously.
Model WPS includes a servo-valve for low pressure and a more direct control – perfectly suitable for filigree work.

Soft Particle Blasting
Dipl. Rest. Bert Jaček, FH Cologne, developed this method for the particularly gentle cleaning of paper and parchment surfaces. In addition to the Resko Airblaster II, a suitable compressor and ARBOCEL® BWW 40, among other things, were used for this purpose. In a first further development, a blasting chamber and extraction system from FUCHS® Umwelttechnik was used to prevent fine dust exposure for users and contamination of the room environment, thereby improving the working process for broad practical application, even for extensive cleaning work.
