LEDAN® TA2, Injection Mortar, 1 kg

Due to its easy handling, the lime mortar is excellently suited for filling cracks and micro-cracks up to 10 mm in structural systems. Due to its optimal adhesion to the substrate, the lime mortar can also be applied to ceilings as well as the soffit of a vault.

The product is easy to dose and only needs to be mixed with water for use.

• Exceptional permeability inside the supports, without wall preliminary wetting (reducing therefore the grout inlet pressure)
• Hydraulicity and resistance to sulfate attack, also on walls containing plaster, with no significant chemical interaction and, in particular, without collateral negative effects due to thaumasite and ettringite formation
• Chemical physical compatibility with the structures (mechanical resistance, porosity, elastic module etc) and maintenance of the mechanical homogeneity of the entire system without dangerous tensions , both of the interface during the shrinkage in the hydraulic phase and the dimensional variations due to the thermo hygrometric deformations over the time
• Natural lime compound, special hydraulic binders chemically stable at a very low content of soluble salts, aggregates, super ventilated pozzolana and a special combination of fluidizing, retentive and aerating additives

Instructions for use:

LEDAN® TA2 is a premix ready-to use with the addition of water only. Mix vigorously LEDAN® TA2 with clean water for about 4 minutes. Inject the product preferably within 10 minutes from the preparation, after removing the dust from the voids by suction. If possible, wet the surfaces to be treated with multiple water applications.

1. Before doing the stucco work, accurately remove the crumbly and incoherent parts and apply only on previously desalted and reinforced walls.

2. Add water to the LEDAN® TA2, mixing vigorously with a drill at low speed, equipped with a stirrer, for about 4 minutes.

3. Keep the compound in agitation before injecting.

4. Inject “in continuous” to avoid occlusions, with spray guns or proper machinery equipped with nozzles having a diameter not inferior to 6mm, that allow the total filling of the crack.
