LEDAN® RI.STAT. EXTRA, 1 kg
Injection mortar for filling gaps among dry layers of plaster and masonry up to 30 mm. High expansive force before curing.
LEDAN® RI.STAT EXTRA is a very low specific weight injection mortar for large size cavities consolidation, having expansive and not destructive power during the plastic phase, which ensure the cavity will be completely filled. Recommended for the re-adhesion of elements with no static functions which cannot be overloaded like vaults or domes intrados. The product can be mixed with LEDAN® RISTAT A and LEDAN® RISTAT B in order to achieve the best chemical, physical and mechanical performances for the work to be done.

of superficial cracks and
re-gluing of plaster’s parts
degraded and friable. As
well as a specific weight
particularly limited the
formulation presents
suitable mechanical
resistances.
Compostion of Formulation:
It is made up of natural limes and special
hydraulic binders (C30), chemically stable
and with very low soluble salt contents,
pozzolana, ventilated perlite and a special
combination of fluidifying, retentive, airing
additives. The special formulation, produced
in 1/10,000 planetary dispersion for a time
under 20 minutes, forms a homogenous premix
of a white colour. To the mortar can be
added micro-fibres to improve its mechanical
features in special uses.
Application Fields:
The product, considering the
low specific weight and the
low mechanical resistances,
results suitable to carry out readherence
of elements lacking
of static functions and not
possible to be made heavy.
Preparation's Instructions:
Knead energetically, for
about three minutes,
LEDAN RI.STAT EXTRA with
demineralised water. If
necessary, and in case of
application with tubes of
which the diameter is less
than 5 mm, filter the grout obtained to eliminate possible lumps formed in the kneading phase.
Instructions for use:
1. Preconsolidate friable and crumbly areas with LEDAN RI.STAT. A.
2.
Close possible outflow openings of the injection mortar from the
plaster surface with suitable LEDAN RALAC putty mortar (available as 1
kg package).
3.
Drill holes in the plaster, stucco, etc. to be fixed. (The locations of
the holes must be determined by the restorer on a case-by-case basis).
The holes must be at least 6 mm in diameter and the distance between the
holes must not exceed 20 cm.
4. If possible, the holes should be cleaned by blowing out and vacuuming.
5. LEDAN RI.STAT. EXTRA with water and mix it thoroughly with an electric mixer for three minutes.
6. Stir the mixture continuously until injection.
7. Inject continuously to avoid clogging and to obtain maximum filling.
Note: LEDAN RI.STAT EXTRA is lime based mixture, therefore avoid application in periods of extreme cold (with minimum temperatures less than 5 °C) or extreme heat (with maximum temperatures over 35 °C). Avoid moreover the application on supports that have presence of soluble salts.
